Cugó Gran in Menorca is delighted to introduce three-night “Movement Retreats” in 2017. Hosted by “Specialists in Movements” Diego Degiovanni and Elena Baracco, the Co-Founders of 2Move, the retreats will run from Friday 12th May – Monday 15th May, and Friday 27th October – Monday 30th October 2017.
These retreats are an exciting addition to Cugó Gran’s specialist Wellness Retreats programme which also includes the highly-acclaimed “The Gut Makeover Retreat” hosted by leading nutritionist and best-selling author, Jeannette Hyde.
“The Movement Retreat” is based on Diego and Elena’s vision of wellness: Live Now - Stay Good - Move Better:
To ‘Live Now’ is about the here and now, focusing on mind and body in balance.
To ‘Stay Good’ is to learn how to nourish both body and soul.
To ‘Move Better’ is to get the most out of the body through progressive and targeted physical training.
The retreat is designed to train the body to achieve its maximum potential as well as to achieve greater energy levels, improve resilience and wellbeing - emotionally, mentally and physically. This is achieved through a series of personal training sessions and yoga and Pilates classes combined with delicious and healthy meals based on nutritional principles.
“Human movement, in every possible form, is our passion. Our approach to movement is progressive and functional. Quality always outweighs quantity. Our training methods are the results of years of study, body research and training, supported by international certifications. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Cugó Gran Menorca and are very exited to promote our concept of “Movement” to a wider audience,” say Diego and Elena.
Diego and Elena founded 2Move in 2014 when they moved to Menorca from Italy. They are both registered yoga teachers by Yoga Alliance Professionals, as well as highly skilled Pilates teachers and certified personal trainers.
Guests of the retreat will also experience an exclusive LI’TYA massage and Rosalena Skincare facial at the villa's dedicated Buganvilla Wellness Room.
During the three night retreat guests can take advantage of Cugó Gran’s beautiful facilities which include a 26-metre outdoor heated pool, chill-out spaces with day beds, terraces for outdoor dining, as well as opportunities to walk or bike along the many beautiful sections of the famous Camí de Cavalls - an ancient path encircling the island.
Prices start from €1,750 for three nights based on two people sharing and €2,100 for single occupancy. This includes all accommodation, food, one LI’TYA massage treatment, one welcome Rosalena Skincare Facial, two one-on-one yoga, Pilates or personal training sessions, 4 group yoga sessions and 2 group Pilates sessions hosted by Diego and Elena.
