So, if it’s discovering street art, taking care of Christmas shopping, enjoying a glamorous 1940’s festival, or fabulous family entertainment, check out our recommendations of the best Lincolnshire events for the months ahead. How many of these will you check off the list?

Lincoln Christmas Market (2nd - 5th December 2021)

As the first restriction-free Christmas in two years approaches, one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe is back and better than ever.

From its beginnings in 1982 with just 11 stalls, Lincoln’s Christmas Market now boasts over 250 stalls spanning across the historic centre of Lincoln. Over the four-day event, you’ll be transported back through time as you wander down the cobbled streets in the cultural quarter of the city, overseeing an impressive backdrop of both the Castle and Cathedral.

Lincoln’s Christmas Market offers something for everyone, with endless entertainment, stalls, mulled wine, and freshly cooked food. You can also do your Christmas shopping through a treasure trove of goodies from hand-crafted jewellery, hand painted glass, candles, ceramics, and locally created art.

The city of Lincoln is a 30-minute drive away from Bainland.

Imp on the Green (28th May 2022)

Taking place on Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the Lincolnshire Showground (just 45-minutes away from Bainland), Imp on the Green brings tribute to some of the best musical talents while creating all the fun of a carnival, making it a great day out for all the family.

Belt out your favourite tunes while paying tribute to stars such as Robbie Williams, Oasis, Spice Girls, and Ariana Grande (to name a few!), or indulge in the fairground rides, delicious food stalls, and games.

With no shortage of choice, there’s something for both the big kids and little kids to enjoy!

The Lincolnshire Show (22nd & 23rd June 2022)

Just 45-minutes away from Bainland, The Lincolnshire Show is a traditional agricultural show and celebration of the rural county of Lincolnshire. It enables the best in the county to showcase their outstanding products and produce, which goes to make Lincolnshire such a great prime agricultural place to work and live.

As well as exploring the county’s rich heritage, you’ll be spoilt for choice at The Lincolnshire Show’s offering; everything from locally produced jewellery, crafts, and gifts to a huge selection of food and drink options.

Offering spectacular entertainment, shopping, music, attractions, and exciting exhibitions, The Lincolnshire Show has something for the whole family to enjoy.

Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival (9th & 10th July 2022)
